Divija Technologies was started in the year 2003 by a technocrat Mr.K.Janakiraman after working a decade abroad. He got first-hand knowledge on the latest manufacturing processes. He returned back to India and started Divija Technologies (partnership firm) with TMX precision, Singapore. He started in a small way by manufacturing of precision machined tooling parts and exporting to parent company Singapore. Precise ground carbide dyes to an accuracy of 0.02mm(20 microns) were being done. Carbide toolings for electrical connector industries(COOPER BUSSMAN ,UK) were being manufactured to maintain an accuracy of 20 microns on the silver connectors profile projectors were added up for inspection of parts. The main activities of Divija Technologies was export of press tools to SIEMENS, USA.
Over a period of time Divija ventured from blue collared(machine shop) to white collared jobs(design).Reverse engineering and CMM inspections are their main activities. As there was a dreath of precision accurate designing of broken parts so divija started reverse engineering and designing of parts. Laser scanning of moulds, tools and various parts from all over the fields are being done currently.
Over the course of 16 years Divija Technologies faced many hardships due to lack of skilled labours for operating lathe, milling and drilling machines leading to a loss in the business world. This made to forcibly shift to the designing the components from manufacturing the same components.
After changing to reverse engineering and successfully progress for straight 10 years, he had to take risks to stand over the stage over others and keep up with the technology he had to invest more than 10 million for the scanning machine and more than millions for the software by keeping in mind the income from those are slow and obtained over a period of time.
After working through all these hardships DIVIJA TECHNOLOGIES outgrown to be the most successful industries performing reverse engineering and CMM inspection.
MR.JANAKIRAMAN is a TOOL AND DIE MAKER with an aptitude for manufacturing & systems. He heads the manufacturing activities; he has rock solid, hands on experience of over 15 years in manufacturing OF PRESS TOOLS AND MOULDS. He started his career as a TOOL AND DIE MAKER with hands on experience on the shop floor. His approach to manufacturing and system is more a passionate one than a professional. The solution is highly localized to the situation. Has hands on experience in tooling solutions for components and has worked abroad on shop floor conditions. Has involved in major projects which have been successfully completed during his working carrier with TVS ELECTRONICS LIMITED. He has involved in indigenously proving and manufacturing the product and also involved in the transfer of technology from CITIZEN WATCH CO JAPAN for the manufacture of PRINT HEAD a Heart for all DOT MATRIX PRINTERS. Has extensively toured Japan, Taiwan and Singapore for the completion and proving of the tooled up parts before being moved to local vendor for production.
With his vast exposure in manufacturing field he has started this company in Ocotber 2003.
A vast area of 1200 sq. which is yet to be occupied fully is a waiting for right investment in manufacturing. Presently with a lean and young team with conventional and accurate machines is able to churn out precision components for press tools and moulds. With his personal involvement he guides the company in all technical solutions.
